The Concentration Camps

The concentration camps were vastly under way soon after Hilter became Chancellor in 1933. The Jewish, Polish, Gypsies, the disabled, gay people, Jahova's Witnesses, and political adversaries were sent. The first camp was Dachau, 49 others were soon to be built as well. Auschwitz was by far the most brutal.  Being part to board a dark and dirty train equaled a gruesome outcome. They had only one way in and no chance out. The violence and destruction that Hitler put Germany through was immense.
